Hello!
My name is Shaunia Scales. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. I moved to Eugene, Oregon when I was 15, and that is now where I call home. I graduated from North Eugene High School, and earned a BA in Social Sciences from Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. I am currently working on a Masters of Education through Oregon State University.
My work history includes working with children in after school day camps, and through overnight sleep away camps in the summer. I worked in the residence halls at Western Oregon University both as a Resident Assistance, and a Desk Assistant at the Residential Service Center. I am currently working as a Case Manager for the Oregon Department of Human Services- Self Sufficiency Program. I have also spent time working in Americorps and volunteering at Abby's House, Womenspace, Independence High School, and the Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center.
In my free time I am an avid reader, and will devour anything in the fantasy genre. I love to cook, and spend time with my family and pets. I also enjoy being creative and doing things like crafting, photo editing, scrap-booking, knitting, and practicing American Tribal Style Belly Dance.
